Junk removal in Cape Town starts at R600 for a small load and runs to R7,500 for a full-house clearance. The price is flat, fixed before the crew leaves the yard, and it already covers loading, transport, tipping and VAT. Confirm a booking before 11am on a weekday and we collect the same afternoon; after that, you are usually looking at the next morning.

You do not need an on-site visit and you do not pay a deposit. Tell us your suburb, a rough volume and what is in the pile — through the quote form or on the phone — and a flat number comes back within 30 minutes. We work across all 66 suburbs in the areas we cover, from the Atlantic Seaboard through the CBD to the Northern Suburbs and the South Peninsula.

This is a collection service: our crew carries everything out and loads it, so nothing needs to be at the kerb before we arrive. If you would rather fill a bin yourself over a few days, hiring a skip is a separate service on its own price list. Junk removal is one of the core rubble and waste services our crew runs daily.

The two things that move your quote inside a band

Where you are. Atlantic Seaboard addresses carry a R200–R400 access surcharge, because of parking and body-corporate access. The outer belt — Constantia, Hout Bay, Noordhoek and the deep Helderberg — adds R150–R300 for the travel.

How the pile is stacked. Truck-to-pile distance, stairs, narrow side passages and estate access rules all cost time, and a flat quote tracks time more than weight. A pile staged near the gate loads far faster than one buried at the back of a garden — mention the access when you book and the number you are given is the number you pay.

    What we'll haul

    • Old furniture, mattresses, fridges, freezers, washing machines
    • Office clear-outs — desks, chairs, partitions, retired electronics
    • Post-renovation clutter — kitchen carcasses, broken tiles, old fittings
    • Garage and shed chaos — boxes, bicycles, broken garden tools, paint cans
    • Estate clearance — full house, sorted respectfully
    • Builders rubble mixed with household items — we'll separate it for you

Clearing out white goods only? We quote fridge and appliance collection on its own.

    What we won't take

    • Liquid paints, solvents, pool chemicals (specialist hazardous handlers)
    • Asbestos sheeting / lagging (specialist abatement only)
    • Batteries and high-voltage e-waste (separate stream)
    • Wet food / kitchen organics

These need specialist handlers — we'll point you to the right one.

How to book a same-day junk removal collection

    1. Tell us three things. Your suburb, roughly how much there is, and what the access looks like — gate, driveway, stairs, estate rules. That is all the quote form asks for.
    2. Get a flat-rate price in 30 minutes. No on-site visit for most jobs, no deposit. The quote is fixed, with tipping and VAT included.
    3. Confirm a slot. Before 11am on a weekday and it is that afternoon. Saturday mornings are same-day subject to crew availability.
    4. Crew arrives, loads, sweeps. We hand-load every item, separate recyclables, set aside what a charity can use, and leave the area broom-clean.
    5. Tipping receipt + cleared-area photo sent the same afternoon — so you can see the load reached a City of Cape Town–authorised facility and not someone's vacant lot.

What every junk removal booking includes

    • Our crew does all the loading and carrying — you do not lift anything
    • Tipping fees at a City of Cape Town–authorised facility
    • VAT, already in the number you are quoted
    • Sorting on the day: donations, recyclables and landfill split as we load
    • The area left broom-swept before we drive away
    • A tipping receipt and a photo of the cleared space, sent the same afternoon

There is nothing to add on afterwards. The flat rate you accept is the number you pay on the day — no hourly creep, no hidden disposal fees, no surprise add-ons.
